Basic and preliminary concepts on digital assets - CBDCS (‘Central Bank Digital Currencies’) and cryptos - in early 2025

Abstract

The present text shows that digital assets are inevitable, especially in world trade and in current global fintech markets. There’s a huge difference between cryptos and CBDCs (i.e., central bank digital currencies) and they only share that both CBDCs and cryptos (bitcoin or ethereum, for instance) are both digital assets which shall generate a big disruption among international trade and business law and namely in payments that used to be made through traditional fiat currencies.
