Evolução jurídica e aspectos controvertidos do criminal compliance no direito penal econômico

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the adoption of the Compliance institute as a criminal policy, its use as a regulated self-regulation mechanism in the fight against economic and corporate crimes and the main controversial points on the subject. For this, the article addresses the legal evolution of the institute, the consequences and introduction in the Brazilian legal system, the doctrinal positions, the data from technical research and the problems to be overcome in the practical reality.
